As our world becomes increasingly complex, many of us feel ungrounded and lost. We feel disconnected from ourselves, feel too much weight or worry in life, or struggle in our relationships with partners, friends, parents or children. We feel overwhelmed, de-skilled, far from our own intuition, more distant from a sense of connection and vitality in life. Working with a therapist – among other resources – is a meaningful and effective way to regain a sense of connection and purpose, to understand and work through difficult moods and anxieties, and to reconnect with strengths and capabilities.
I see my role as being a bridge between worlds. My approach integrates some aspects of conventional talk-therapy, as a necessary foundation of healing, along with new, expanding avenues to self-growth: enhancing one’s connection to body through somatic or emotiona-based work, inner explorations through imagery and self-inquiry, spiritual seeking to place ourselves in larger contexts, and even the inclusion of non-ordinary states (meditation, psychedelic-assisted therapy) as adjuncts to therapy when indicated.

Growth involves movement and requires courage and support. This work involves crossing many inner bridges together: from disconnection to self-connection, from insight to emotional awareness, from fear towards self-love. Literally from sitting still to moving, at times. From avoidance to tolerance of discomfort and pain. From confusion to clarity. Welcome!
